Kathrin Schaeppi

Kathrin U. Schaeppi, MS, MLA, MFA, is a federally licensed Jungian Depth Psychologist and Psychotherapist. Her private practice is in Basel, a brief walk from the main station. Psychotherapy can be reimbursed through Swiss health insurances.

Kathrin is passionate about enabling one's unique expression. In her wholistic approach to psychotherapy she includes dream work, drawing, journalling, painting, active imagination and movement. On her path of supporting personal and social transformation she integrates from her training in the sciences, communications, gender studies, mindfulness, and embodiment. (www.kschaeppi.ch) Having spent early years living outside of Boston and later years in Basel, Kathrin is fully bilingual.

At ISAPZURICH she heads the Picture Interpretation Department, is co-founder of the Picture Collection and is a member of the Zürich Lecture Series team. Currently she is on the organizing committee for the 90-year Jubilee of the Psychological Association Basel (PGB) 2023. In the past, at ISAPZURICH she has been a co-organizer of the Märztagung and the Jungian Odyssey. In 2022, she co-facilitated a conference on embodiment.
