Dr Sándor Pethö, MD and psychologist, created this bodywork in Hungary and developed it in Brazil after WWII. A pioneer in Jungian work in Brazil, he taught a group of psychotherapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and others in this method. The goal is to facilitate patients' contact and perception of inner aspects of the psyche through body sensations. Touches are subtle and gentle, in the feet, head and over the body. The sensation function and its correlated intuition function are mobilized. Memories, dreams, and psychic material appear, integrating psychotherapy.
