Vampires in the 21st Century: Unmasking Predatory Parasites in the Collective, Ourselves, and The Spirit of the Times
Lurking in the shadows of our way of life, business as usual, and unconscious drivers of the culture, the archetypal fiend operates under masks of normalcy. In what ways can we identify the phenomenon outside, and also within, ourselves? What is the relationship of the vampire to depth psychology, and how can we recognize how we invite it in, and how we might begin to free ourselves from its possession? The lectures will touch on personal, interpersonal and transpersonal themes, with examples from attitudes and consequences in contemporary society, as well as in case histories.
