Our Institute
About ISAP Zurich
ISAP Zurich provides the only postgraduate training in the world that is fully and officially based on the concepts of C.G. Jung as they evolved at the C.G. Jung Institute Zurich. We are at once a school for the formation of analysts and a public forum for the enduring study of the psyche.
A Living Tradition
A School and a Public Forum
From a single building in the heart of Zurich, the institute gathers a global, hybrid community of students and scholars around the living continuation of a tradition that has shaped depth psychology for nearly a century.
- Founded
- A living continuation of the Zurich tradition, carried forward in the city where analytical psychology took form.
- Global
- Students from more than thirty countries, drawn together around a shared scholarly vocation.
- Hybrid
- On-site seminars in Zurich and live Zoom participation, so the institute reaches scholars wherever they study.
- Archive
- A scholarly library and archive holding the record of the school from its inception onward.
The Institute
Who We Are
Who we are, and the people and structures that carry the work. The school was founded in 1948 and established a pedagogical tradition unlike any other — one in which the theoretical and the personal cannot be separated.
- A faculty of practising Jungian analysts
- Seminar groups small enough for genuine dialogue
- One of the most comprehensive Jungian libraries in the world
