Coming of age is a phase in life during which the demeanour, the values and attitudes of the young person change. Parents react bewildered, lost for answers; conventional psychotherapeutic approaches are often not successful. In the lecture the psychological backgrounds and possible approaches, based on archetypical psychology, are presented and discussed.
